Ok, so now we are all churning out Videos for SEO? Looks like these files do not need to be hosted with the search engine. Good!

Sometimes you stumble upon a new topic that is worth to optimize for. Most big areas which were easy to work on are full of competition these days. But last year I have started to optimize for repair manuals and found only a handful of people really pushing that area. We have reached good positions for some solid keywords and I am happy with that one.

Last Saturday I met a cool guy on an Open Source conference in Germany, who is developing a lot of web applications based on drupal (the same app I am using here for my blog) and we talked a bit about SEO from the coders point of view.

If you search for some terms in Google, you might saw it: "Supplemental Result". This "tag" is going to vanish soon from the actual index, but the meaning of it remains:

Every 3 to 3.5 months, google updates its famous Pagerank value, which you can see, if you enable it in the Google toolbar. Yet not so important for high ranking as many think, it is still a good indicator, if you site has the POTENTIAL to rank high.

A lot of friends and customers are contacting me, because there is a renaissance around the value of domains.

I honestly believe, that these stories are rare and seldom.

On this domain (bitclix) we have started a blogging platform about 1.5 years ago. After about 6 months, people started spamming us with all kind of adult or gambling links. I tried hard to keep up and prevent that crap with CAPTCHA (the little images you must type in, when posting), but it did not help!
