Who I am and how to use this site!

When I stumbled into SEO in late 2001, I was ready to bang my head against the wall, because it was around 7 years after I started my first website. Somehow ignorant! I am Ralf Schwoebel, aka pontifex on webmasterworld.com. During the 90s, I moved from Game Development on the AMIGA to e-commerce and opened one of the first online shops in Germany. I lived in the States for a while, but my writing in english is still bad!

From 2002 to 2004 I created a major SEO company with a few million US$ in revenue and bailed out to restart in late 2004, now without any VC but my own. Since then my baby www.tradebit.com is rising to one of the major sources of digital goods. I coded it (in PHP), designed it and made it work. That still takes around 70% of my work day.

This little bitclix baby here is my place to pester you with SEO related information. It is open for anyone to register and post, too. At least until any spammers are getting on my nerves! It is based on Drupal, a REAL nice software for managing communities - wait, that is late 90s... aehm... managing Web2.0 sites :)
