Waiting for the pagerank update

Every 3 to 3.5 months, google updates its famous Pagerank value, which you can see, if you enable it in the Google toolbar. Yet not so important for high ranking as many think, it is still a good indicator, if you site has the POTENTIAL to rank high.

The last update was around the 20th of April, so it is now 3 month back. The webmaster community more or less now waits for the new values to see some indication about their link work in the past.

Just to make sure: it really is just an indication. Someone with a Pagerank 4 could easily outrank your for the same terms, if you have Pagerank 6. There are many factors for your position in the results and PR is just one of those.
